Due to its success and evolving opportunities within the online gaming industry we are looking for a Head of Legal to manage the Legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual who is ambitious and likes to work closely with senior management in a learning and development scenario. The role of Head of Legal is varied, and you will thrive in a fast paced and agile environment.
Responsibilities
Managing the legal team.
Negotiating and managing the processing of agreements with 3rd parties.
Managing litigation with external counsel.
Managing DSARs and questions relating to GDPR.
Managing 3rd party KYC/DD requests.
Assisting with licensing applications.
Corporate compliance management including drafting resolutions, internal agreements etc.
Drafting board reports.
Researching laws, rulings & regulations for individuals and the businesses.
Working closely with the compliance and finance teams.
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 5 years’ post qualification experience within a legal department - igaming or fin tech industry will be first preference.
Holder of a Law degree – specializing in Privacy law would be an advantage.
Excellent knowledge of UK, Maltese law and EU laws.
First class communication skills, both written and verbal.
Smart, motivated candidate who is able to work under the high paced pressure of a progressive dynamic in-house legal department.
