Job description

As the SEO Manager you are primarily responsible for understanding, communicating, and executing all activities related to the organic search strategy in key search engines such as Google. You're responsible for the quality and growth of mainly on-site SEO with improved rankings to drive organic growth resulting in New Depositing Customers (NDCs).

You’ll work closely with the Content teams, Off-page SEO, Product/Marketing, and Acquisition teams to drive the technical and business KPIs towards the company goals by enabling higher search rankings on major search engines. Always following SEO best practices to achieve long term organic growth.

You’ll directly report to the Global Head of SEO and work on several brands part across several product verticals.

Areas of responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating and implementing the SEO strategy for several brands
  • Monitor the organic performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SemRush, Screaming frog, Majestic, and Ahrefs.
  • Following-up on rankings/improvements from the changes that are being made and report them back to the Global Head of SEO
  • Work with the Head of SEO, product teams and country managers to improve the search visibility of several brands
  • Responsible for tracking, analysing and reporting performance based on several KPIs and metrics from various sources such as GSC, GA and business data.
  • Keep track of technical improvements that could be made on the brands
  • Work with third party agencies or freelancers when necessary; managing expectations and reporting.
  • Perform keyword research based on our existing LTV and keyword model
  • Maintain a portfolio of targeted LPs/Keywords and create a roadmap strategy for improving the search visibility
  • Based on insights from research on opportunities, acquisition, behaviour and value metrics, you're able to make SEO recommendations in order to improve and grow the targeted landing pages
  • Work with content teams to make sure all content has an SEO focus. Providing guidelines, advice, and templates as necessary to adhere to SEO best practices.
  • Work closely with the Head of SEO on the SEO strategy, tasks, and key projects.
  • Performing ad-hoc SEO tasks as required
  • Staying up to date with the latest industry trends and adapting the strategy accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English and Swedish
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in an SEO role within the gaming industry.
  • Experience of working both on-page and off-page across all the major search engines.
  • Experience of driving quality traffic via SEO efforts.
  • Experience working with remote content writers/managers to execute SEO strategy.
  • An ability to scale up technical SEO strategies and in-depth understanding of search engine behaviour
  • Pro-active to spot opportunities and raise issues
  • Exceptional communication skills, motivated and the ability to work independently
  • Great leadership skills and will later on have the opportunity to build a solid SEO team.
