Job description

 

A new, fast-growing casino client in Malta is now looking for a Compliance Analyst to their team. 
You will be reporting to the Compliance Manager, and the role is offered with a hybrid solution.

 

Responsibilities:

• Handling due diligence requests received from third parties;

• Assisting in business partner onboarding, including initiating the process, follow-ups and record keeping, and ongoing monitoring to help ensure full compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements;

• Identifying issues and escalating to superiors while making suitable recommendations;

• Assisting with requests for information from external regulatory bodies;

• Assisting with regulatory compliance efforts, including licensing and reporting obligations;

• Assisting with Compliance related Audits preparations;

• Assisting in the application of relevant policies, procedures, and processes relating to all areas of compliance;

• Assisting in other compliance tasks;

 

Requirements:

• Fluent in written and verbal English;

• Minimum 1 year experience in Compliance; experience in the gambling sector;

• A solid understanding and appreciation of AML;

• Highly organised, knows how to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and able to meet tight deadlines;

• Ability to take direction and also to take ownership of tasks within their remit, and follow them through to completion.

• Can work well both independently and as part of a team;

• Comfortable in dealing with all levels of staff and business counterparts;

• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail;

• Good inter-personal skills; • Able to build strong relationships with peers and business counterparts;

• Willingness to learn and aptitude for acquiring new competencies
