Work In Sweden

In Sweden, the economy is one of the most developed in the world and it is also one of the most innovative counties in the world. Swedes are early adapters of new technology and the country’s non-hierarchical society creates a fertile environment for new ideas. The country has not been in war for over 200 years and have made the people in Sweden more laid back and not to worried about the future. If you work in Sweden, you will probably land on about 30000 SEK a month, which is the average salary in the country. In Stockholm, the capital, you might earn a bit more, but also the living costs are higher.

Sweden is the biggest country in the Nordic region. It has more than 10 million inhabitants and it is growing in a fast pace. The country is 1,574 kilometres long and the scenery from north to south is very different. In the north, the landscape is covered by mountains and snow almost the whole year around. In the south, the climate is milder, and the landscape is very flat, and you can find long white sand beaches.

From Abba to Ingmar Bergman to Avicii and Zara Larsson, Sweden is a major exporter of culture, and the world’s biggest exporter of pop music in relation to GDP. Another global Swedish hit in recent years has been the so-called Nordic noir literary genre, led by Henning Mankell and Stieg Larsson. Look backwards in time and you have cultural heavyweights like Bergman – widely regarded as one of the leading directors in the history of film – and August Strindberg, the respected and highly influential dramatist.
